SAM-BA for Linux

I am having some difficulty using SAM-BA on Ubuntu [Linux ubuntu 2.6.32-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 17 20:26:08 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux to be precise] and I am using this specifically on AT91CAP9 product. I ruled out the issue with applets/AT91BootROM based on the working patch on Windows XP and Windows 7 machines.

I strongly believe that the issue is related to the Tcl/Tk interface, but not able to figure out exactly where. As suggested in SAM-BA linux doc, I installed Tcl 8.4 (patch 19) on the first try and chaned it to 8.4.0 and 8.4.13 subsequetly as an experiment. Supporting my statement of 'issue being related to Tcl/Tk' the GUI works intermittently on different version.

The run is a little stable (not completely working) on Fedora 8 [Linux 2.6.23.1-42.fc8 #1 SMP Tue Oct 30 13:55:12 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux].

Does any one know, what version (including patch) of Tcl, Tk and Tclx I should be using? Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Mangu
