Description

The SAM3S series are 18 Cortex-M3-based Flash MCUs that integrate features to simplify PCB design and reduce power consumption down to 2.3 mW at 1 MHz operation. At maximum operating frequency of 64MHz the device consumes 1.45mW/MHz. They provide processing power and features such as system control, sensor interfaces, 64k to 256kByte Flash memory options, an optional external parallel bus interface, connectivity capabilities and user interface support. Additional features include

Description

Atmel’s SAM3U is the industry’s first Cortex-M3 Flash microcontroller with an on-chip high-speed USB Device (including transceiver) at 480 Mbps. In addition to USB, the SAM3U products come with multiple communication interfaces such as USART, SPI and I2C, as well as an external memory conHtroller, SDIO/SD/MMC controller, ADCs and timers. This connectivity, together with the SAM3U’s 96 MHz/1.25 DMIPS/MHz operating frequency, makes the SAM3U the unique Cortex-M3 device suited to
