I've a problem with a RNDIS. The RNDIS driver on Windows XP stop responding if user unplug and replug quickly and sometimes after AT91 reset.

After hanging any new usb device connected into PC won't be recognized and it's not possible to resurrect communication with AT91. It's impossible to reload rndis driver or remove device from Win device manager - if I try to do it device manager hangs.

On the other side (linux) g_ether module on AT91 seems to work perfect - it's possible to connect it with other computer.

I've no idea where is the problem ;(

g_ether is initialized as follows:
modprobe g_ether iManufacturer="xxx" iProduct="xxx" idVendor="0x0403" idProduct="0xD809"

Windows driver is also loaded using pattern of an inf file from kernel linux-2.6.30\Documentation\usb\

Best regards
Tomasz B.

Looks like the problem is on the MS side.
The following post author deals with MS only sides (using MS ActiveSync) and has the same problem with RNDIS. I have this too, so don't know any reasonable solution other than move to other driver, say, cdc+ppp.
