 Post subject: need SMSC LAN8720 support

Hi All!

I have a board with at91sam9g45 and the ethernet is based on the LAN8720 PHY. Can anybody how to enable it in u-boot and Linux?

Which kernel version are you using?
LAN8720 PHY should be included since 2.6.30.

You may have to write your own driver for u-boot and linux kernel.

Hi!

u-boot works fine with LAN8720 PHY. I had to disable the PA16 pull-up during PHY reset and u-boot began to find it. Tftp tested - worked fine!

Anyway I can tell that brand new SODIMM module based on AT91SAM9G45 begins to breathe :)
