Hi,

I want to integrate I2C GPIO expander (TCA9554APWR ) to my AT91SAM9G45-EKES and couldn't find I2C driver for the same . Does anyone know from where i can get I2C driver for the same or some sample application which integrates the driver ?

Thanks

It's a TI part, try them or one of their FAE's. If it's anything like the Philips IO expander parts they are relatively straight forward to configure and utilize.

If you can't support it in-house, maybe you can out source the work?

Thanks for the reply. My concern is from Atmel point of view. When i talked to Atmel folks, they say Linux community is not supporting their driver and we are forced to use Bitbang approach when talking to I2C devices. When i google, i found that from 2.6.24 onwards, Atmel drive is broken and not robust (lot of issues). I am not sure how to use Bitbang driver and not sure if it can work at 400KHz. Any help on this?
