Hi all,

I'm working on a proprietary board design with SAM9G45. We are encountering problems with a USB2.0 connected device (storage). On one of the boards I saw that at startup the device sometimes was enumerated as OHCI and other times as EHCI. Worst case, on some other boards the system will disconnect the USB during normal operation.

As a safety measure I want to force the system to use OHCI by default which would prevent USB disconnects during operation.

I tried to compile with CONFIG_USB_EHCI_HCD disabled and at91_add_device_usbh_ehci() commented but then the system won't enumerate even the OHCI. I understand OHCI is translated through the EHCI?

Also the info in
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux. ... eral/40495
did not give any results.

Does anyone have experience in forcing OHCI on SAM9 processors?
Any suggestions?

kind regards,
