hi all:

I'm porting the eybuild(web cgi tool)to atmel 9g20,linux kernel is 2.6.37.3, and my toolchain is arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc/ld/strip.....,but make failed as following:

/root/CodeSourcery/arm-2007q1/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/4.2.0/../../../../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld: ERROR: Source object /usr/local/eybuild/lib/libeybuild_arm.a(ebmultiform.o) has EABI version 0, but target demo.cgi has EABI version 4

why? how to solve it?

Thanks and best regards,
blue

Check the compiler/assembler building ebmultiform.o
Check the linker building the library libeybuild_arm.a

Check the versions, paths and command line options used to build these files.

Deleting these specific files, and then trying "make" again might show the dependencies more readily than doing a clean build, if you have modified things during your porting process you should do a "make clean" to clear out any stale objects/libraries.

Thanks,CptTitanic.

And just now I had got the infomation that libeybuild_arm.a isn't an open source library.
The libeybuild_arm.a library was compiler for x86,and if use it under embedded cross compiler that need a licence.

Now I decide to give up it!

libeybuild_arm.a from the eybuild project that can design a web page for embedded device, similar with CGI, so I need a tool to implement the WEB config function, Please recommend a tool or method, any advices is appreciative, thank you!

Best regards,
blue
