i use an gpio-driver and also succesful made a image out of all the kernel (including this driver), but now when i'd like to access a internal GPIO-register within the function ioctl of the driver, i get a segmentation fault..
do i have to free this memory space for the kernel to use?
i thought kernel has full access?!

and if yes, how can i do that?
