 Post subject: AT91RM9200 SPI clock speeds?

Hello, I am running an AT91RM9200 and would like to communicate to a SPI device that has a maximum Speed of 70kHz. Minimum low and minimum high clock periods are both 6.7us.

Under kernel 2.6.22 using the new spidev driver I can set the clock to 100kHz minimum. Anything slower and I get an error in the kernel debug messages. Is the rm9200 limited to 100kHz, or is it purely driver based?
