Hi! I'm Valentino and I'm new in the Linux ambient.
I've a sample AT91SAM9261 board of ATMEL and I want to load a DEMO Kernel Image in SDRAM from USB key.

When I connect power supply, on Hyperterminal I can read:

U-Boot 1.1.4 (Sep 14 2006 - 21:04:26)

DRAM: 64 MB
NAND:NAND device: Manufacturer ID: 0xec, Chip ID: 0xda (<NULL> NAND 256MiB 3,3V)
NAND bus width 16 instead 8 bit
0 MiB
DataFlash:AT45DB642
Nb pages: 8192
Page Size: 1056
Size= 8650752 bytes
Logical address: 0xC0000000
Area 0: C0000000 to C0003FFF (RO)
Area 1: C0004000 to C0007FFF
Area 2: C0008000 to C0037FFF (RO)
Area 3: C0038000 to C083FFFF
In: serial
Out: serial
Err: serial
dm9000 i/o: 0x30000000, id: 0x90000a46
MAC: 02:03:04:85:06:07
could not establish link
U-Boot>

After to have written the commandos of "Access a USB key", I load the Image file with this command:

U-Boot> fatload usb 0:1 20000000 image-at91sam9261-100 2106016

and on Hyperterminal I read:

reading image-at91sam9261-100
Invalid FAT entry

4096 bytes read
U-Boot>

and so I don't succeed to continue

Help me help me!!!

Hi Valentino,
maybe you forgot to call
U-Boot> usb start
before
U-Boot> fatload usb 0:1 20000000 image-at91sam9261-100 2106016

ciao

RomBOOT
>
Load UBOOT from dataflash[c0008000] to SDRAM[23f00000]
Read Dataflash failed

Ora non so più che fare perchè sono bloccato.
Spero tu possa aiutarmi

Hi,thank you for you answer but the "Access Usb Key" commandos,I have written all:
-usb start
-usb storage
-usb dev 0
-fatls usb 0:1

and them have had success, on hyperterminal I can read the list of USB Key files, but the "fatload" command does not work, I read the same error

Now my situation is gotten worse because I have reloaded the DataFlashBoot-at91sam9261-100.bin and u-boot-1.1.3-at91sam9261ek-100.bin in the Dataflash with SAM-BA 2.6, but when I reset the board, on the Hyperterminal read:

RomBOOT
>
Load UBOOT from dataflash[c0008000] to SDRAM[23f00000]
Read Dataflash failed

help me help me
