Hello,

how do I mount an USB stick in linux (AT91SAM9260EK)

I´ve enabled mass storage support in the kernel...


Could anybody explain me the "mount" command...

thank you,

is it possible to generate a file /dev/sda1 at this time the USB Stick is inserted/plugged, and remove this file in /dev when the usb stick is unplugged ?

(Automatic generation/deletion)

Hello,

I see the sda and sda1 in /dev if I Plug in my USB Stick.

If I now type:

Linux says mount failed....

What could be the problem...

Ok I found my fault:

I had to enable the Kernel Config:

FileSystems--->
MSDOS fs support
vfat support
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ANOTHER QUESTION:

If I plug in my usb stick, how could AUTOMOUNT the dev/sda1 to /mnt/ ?
