Helo everyone...
I could able to access the 4 GPIO keys provided in AT91SAM9261-EK.But we are planning for 35 key custom keypad using the GPIO's.the problem is ,i could able to detect the key events using the statically built kernel module and i am able to send the info(which key is pressed) to user space by running a sample application in the user space.but how can i submit the info to the user space(shell) without running any application in user space.(shell should able to detect my GPIO key events automatically).i'll be very happy if any one can give any suggestion or any sample code. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Kiran Kumar Sharma

how you access the 4 GPIO keys? I find the gpio key driver in linux-2.6.24/arch/arm/mach-at91/gpio.c.
