hi all, i have now a olimex l9260 board with linux preloaded. In the documentation is an example to cross-compile a simple project. Because i am a beginner with linux and arm i want ask, are they some simple to use cross compiler for windows pc's avialable?

You can compile bootstrap and u-boot under windows using winarm or cygwin with gnuarm cross compiler. But I don't think,that you could build linux kernel when you would use these compilers under windows. At least I could not do this.
