Hi all,

This forum have many ressources which was usefull for me to build my new kernel with buildroot. I'm using AT91SAM9260-EK, everything work fine for with the demo shipped by atmel on CD, and with Angstrom demo from linux4sam.

linux4sam.org have very detailled procedure, but i can't find what i've to do with files in /tftpboot/ :
at91sam9260dfc-dataflashcardboot-2.3.4.bin
at91sam9260dfc-linux-2.6.24.4-20080519.gz
at91sam9260dfc-u-boot-1.2.0-atmel-20080519.bin
autoscript.at91sam9260dfc
rootfs.arm-20080519.ext2
rootfs.arm-20080519.jffs2

How can i upload those file to my board ?

This website has useful information on how to proceed. This page specifically has information on putting some of the files on the EK board.

Hello gauloisid,

You can use the demo linux running .tcl script. You just need to replace the names of corresponding kernel (Shoud be in uImage format), at91bootstrap and the .jffs2 filesystem files by your ones in the .tcl file and in the batch file you need to replace the name of the u-boot bin file with your one. Dont forget to copy all the files in the same folder along with the
u-boot initialization tmp.bin file.

Make the board connections and run the batch file.

Hi,

I did not understand from the reply what should I do with the files.
I have the following result files:

1) rootfs.arm-20080615.jffs2
2) rootfs.arm-20080615.ext2
3) autoscript.at91sam9260dfc
4) autoscript
5) at91sam9260dfc-u-boot-1.2.0-atmel-20080615.bin
6) at91sam9260dfc-linux-2.6.24.4-20080615.gz
7) at91sam9260dfc-dataflashcardboot-2.3.4.bin

And I would like to load them - but am not sure howto.
The example tcl script has different files.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
