I am running Angstrom Linux on my AT91sam9263EK board but,
my actual project board will be lacking the dataflash so, I need to
place everything (bootstrap, uboot-env, uboot, kernel and the rootfs)
in the nand flash and boot the system from there.
AT91sam9263 have nand flash boot capability.

What all changes have to be done to the kernel , bootargs etc for this :?:
What are the address locations on the nand flash where uboot, kernel
etc have to be loaded :?:

What would be the minimum flash requirment :?:

Thanks and Regards,
Devendra

First SAM9263 silicon series has an issue avoiding boot from NAND, read at the end of the datasheet.

I guess rev. B of the AT91SAM9263 chips supports NAND Flash boot.
I am going to order those for my project but before that I need to make sure that I can really place everything in the NAND Flash and boot from there. So what all I need to do for booting from NAND Flash ?

Regards,
Devendra

I have u-boot, kernel and RFS running in 32M of NAND on the 9260EK platform. No GUI though.

Right no I am having some problem with NAND and SDRAM timing, reset issue...

All the best!

FYI, linux4sam.org has been updated with support for boot from NAND.
AT91sam9263ek Rev B is also ok with this update of the demos and source code.

Regards,
