 Post subject: gadget ethernet problem

Hi,
I'm trying to get the gadget ethernet (g_ether module) interface working between a winXP host and my h/w that is VERY similar to an AT91SAM9260EK board.
kernel is 2.6.24.4
I install the module w/ modprobe g_ether
/var/log/messages contains:

XP begins installing the driver linux.inf but then stops w/ This device cannot start (Code 10)
Can anyone help me with this?
