Hi

How can I use a different serial port for my kernel messages than for my login console?

Once my login console is initiated, I do not see any kernel messages any more. And the boot process panics before I can use the dmesg command. And I'm sure other kernel info and error messages have passed.

Or if someone knows a better or different approach to always see the kernel messages???
