Hi pratap,
as far as i know atmel supports an older (but free version) of QT embedded or Qtopia.
To get informations about this take a look at http://www.trolltech.com/products/qt/index.html.
Free solutions could be:
- GTK+ for embedded devices - http://www.directfb.org/index.php
- a special version of Xwindows with for instance the matchbox manager
- or the gpe environment located at http://gpe.handhelds.org/ ( includes Xwindows + GTK+ + some very nice applications)

Best regards,
Edi

Hi,
i doesn't have an evalboard. Are there any BSP's for Linux available? As far as i know this packages are for Windows CE not for Linux.

Some hints for Qt embedded. If you want use this GUI for commercial purposes you have to pay for the development system and also for run time licenses. Qt embedded is very nice, but in the most cases it is more expensiv as windows CE, particularly in smal volumes. :(

I do not know anything about the BSP and perl or phyton.

Sorry, but i can't help you a lot for getting linux work. There is a mailinig list for kernel development (only for the kernel not the applications), located at http://www.arm.linux.org.uk.

A second very nice place to get information about how to start kernel and linux development is the documentation for uboot (nice boot/linux loader for some platforms). But i do not have the link at the moment.

Best regards,
Edi

:o Now ,i realised the problem of Qt/E.it is costly.I planned to go with GTK++/Tiny-X.

Edi :!:

I told the BSP(board support package) instead of ramdisk image .Sorry for my wrong notation.

Can anybody give guidence to port GTK++/Tiny-X to ARM?

Thanks in advance
