Hi!

I am having a little trouble starting activesync on the 9260 board (Windoes CE 6.0).
Prevoiusly I managed to get the 9261 board up and running. The first signal was that activesync connected, even before I got the lcd, nand, etc working (the Olimex board).
When I connect the 9260 board to the USB, activesync does not activate itself. I checked the device manager and Microsoft USB Sync is there (VID 045E, PID 00CE). This is OK. I don't think this is because of a HW difference between the Atmel and Olimex boards...
I used the target shell to start rapllog.exe manually and activesync activated.
So activesync is working but does not autoconnect. I need to get this working.
I did some research and found this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/317171
It seems outdated because the .db file does not contain these definitions and the signaling part in the BSP USB library is commented out. Both in the 9260 and 9261 BSPs.
I compared the 9260 and 9261 BSP USB sources but I haven't found any significant differences.
Why is this happening?
I really need this get working.

I also get an error at startup:
ERROR: OALIoCtlHalGetDeviceInfo: Device doesn't support IOCTL_HAL_GET_DEVICE_INFO::SPI_GETUUID

It occures between C_USB_DEVICE::Init function and detecting the host (ATMEL_usbfn!C_USB_DEVICE::ThreadRun: : Attach Detected)

I'm not sure if it is related to my original problem.

Edit: I've ran a debug version of the OS. There is an other message when connecting the USB:

UsbFnMdd!UfnMdd_Notify: Ignoring notification 0x00000001 - 0x00000002 from PDD
ATMEL_usbfn!C_USB_DEVICE::ThreadRun: : Attach Detected

Well looks like I found it. If I turn the graphical shell on, it works.
The strange is that if I don't turn it on and start repllog manually I still can see the Activesync window through the Zoom remote tool. But it is in front of a black background. .NET CF requires display support. I used NOP (null) display driver as the chip doesn't have an lcd driver.
This might work. After finished debugging I can turn the * shell off.

Which graphical shell did you use? The "Standard Shell" or the "Windows Thin Client Shell"?
