Hello,
we are trying to use the WinCE 6 demo BSP in Vista, but as there isn´t Active Sync anymore in Vista and one has to use Windows Mobile Device Center, we are having problems with it.
When we plug in USB cable for synchronization, we obtain a message that says that the driver was succsesfully instaled but the device couldn't be initiated: error code 10.
We have tried to update everything in Vista an also the driver with no luck.
I hope somebody could give some light on this.

We finally found the problem.

Windows Vista doesn´t allow the board to connect to Windows Device Mobile Center if Windows CE is not licensed.
So, to connect to Vista like one does in XP with ActiveSync, you must purchase a license for Widnows CE, and stamp it on your image after loading it on the board.

The thing is that neither Vista nor the board gives an informative error about this, it only fails initiating the device, the board throws an exception in the USB function .dll and hangs.

Vista and the Windows Device Mobile Center is well supported by Activesync (some of us are under Vista and Seven) but your image must include last QFE's.
