Hi,
I want to change the bootstrap code to generate a 800*600 (80 Hz) picture mode in the LCD controller.
Can anyone explain to le how to do?

I am not a kernel hacker but I would start from editing board config in kernel sources to provide information about screen. Check arch/arm/mach-at91/board-sam9263ek.c for example - there is 240x320px screen attached to LCD controller - you need to change this for your screen (in your machine config of course).
