I'm a newbie in the field of embedded software development. I have with me an at91sam9263-ek board. I need to do an image processing application (Corner detection & Feature Extraction) . I would like to know what are the toolsets required for this project like

IDE
Compiler, Assembler , Linker, Debugger, Simulator
Libraries for Image Processing.

Hi,
we do image processing (edge detection, homogenity analysis, ...) with an AT91SAM9260. We use KEIL µVision IDE (including compiler, linker and debugger) with ULINK2 and Segger J-Link HW debuggers. The image processing algorithms were written by hand and optimized for speed.
The evaluation of the algorithms has been done using MatLab (on a PC).

You may try to port openCV-functions, to run on the controller, but the performance will not be very good, if you do not optimize the code.
