Hi everyone!

I am new in this forum and I hope that you can help me with my doubt.

I am working in a project of RFID which use the microcontroller AT91SAM7s_256.
The project is about a UHF RFID Reader and I want to incorporate a interface Lan to reader.

I have seen on the internet that there are ethernet microcontrollers (e.g. PIC18F97J60) and also that, there is the AT91SAM7X serie which have such interface incorporate. But I would like to use the AT91SAM7s_256 for it.
There are a ENC624J600 of microchip that use SPI interface. I think that I can use this one, What do you think? or if someone know some other controller...

Thank you, guys.

Hi

If you are already familiar with the SAM7S you will find that you can easily move to the SAM7X. This will give you the simplest Ethernet interface - its performance should be much better than when using an external SPI based controller.
