 Post subject: Problem programming the UART in AT91SAM7s256

I am trying to communicate my laptop with the evaluation board AT91SAM7s-EK by serial port with a cable USB-RS232 but I don't get any result.
I tried to debugger little to little my C-code but the values don't keep into the registers. Why?

I am using the progam keil. Thank you.
