Hi,

I will use twelve PIO pins as a bidirectional input/output connected to a bus.

1) For each time I want to write to or read from bus, I have to accordingly reconfigure the pins (as Output or as Input)?

2) There is a way to set tri-state mode in the pins ("disconnect" them from bus)?

I'm using a AT91SAM7S-EK (AT91SAM7S64 uC).

Hi

All GPIO can be configured are input or output. When outputs they drive the bus . When inputs they can read from the bus and are also effectively tri-stated in the process.
