 Post subject: What happend to the sam7a?

I have been looking for a chip with an external bus interface and support for both USB and CAN. The sam7a chip seems like the ideal choice (considering that the new sam3x is not available yet). The problem is that this chip is not mentioned on atmel.com. Does anyone know why?

hello,
the sam7a is a mature device and not longer recommended for new desings.
