Hello,

I am designing a board with two AT91SAM7S256 running in parallel, and I want them synchronized each other.

The datasheet is not so clear for me in the use of the Xout pin. My question is:

One micro would be connected to a 18.432MHz Crystal (Xin and Xout). Could the Xin of the 2nd micro be connected to the 1st's Xout pin? (bypassing the signal as an external source clock).

I want to save as much as possible pins in the design, so using Xout of the 1st micro would be a plus for me design.

Thanks in advance.
