CAN bus with spi interface

Hi,

I'm using AT91SAM7S256 with a CAN controller (mcp2515) and a CAN transceiver (mcp2551).
It's not me who have made the hardware so i must use the sam7s256 and do the spi/can interface in software.

There is Base Frame/Data Frame/Error Frame ... so what's must i do in software? (Send Start Of Frame bit, a synchronisation signal and ...)
