I am using SAM-ICE developed by Segger.
The board is AT91SAM7S256 developed by olimex.
When I try to reset the target using Jlink, Error message is "unable to halt CPU core"
I have tried increasing the speed to upto 8000 but it is not helping me.
I would be really thankful if you could help me in getting rid of this error.

Make sure you have the most current Segger drivers/software.
Make sure the TEST an BDS jumpers are off.
Try selecting different J-Link reset strategies.

Had this problem today. Cannot tell exact reason, but I guess it had smth to do with fiddling with the screwdriver on the board while having it powered 8)

Solution: Using reset pin. After that everything works ok.
