Hi All,

We have been facing an issue since we have moved the firmware from Rev B of At91Sam7S128 to Rev C. The MCU some times hangs during the different operations randomly. Though this problem is not very common and produced very rare yet the process hang issue seems to be unacceptable. We are wondering that what are the possible scenarios in which At91Sam7S128 may hang in a way that even external watchdog is not able to restart it event though it is sending continues rest pulses to reset pins. IAR being used as compiler and we are not setting URSTEN bit to 0 in the application any where.

Can any one please help by sharing some experience.

Hi,

You should check the errata section of the SAM7S product datasheet. Some changes on the flash are reported section 40.13.1.

HI Danii,

Apparently we are facing the exact problem you are facing.

Did you find any thing helpful?

Thanks,
Haider
