Hi,

I am very happy with the AT91SAM7S64 microcontroller. I am using it in a lot of small application and I do not have any problem :P
Now, I need to use it in very small application and I do not want use the embedded PLL. What do we do wit the PLLRC pin at PCB level ?? I would like to know the best and easiest solution.

Hi July,

D o not connect this pin at any potential, it is the best solution and easy solution. There is a internal pull-down at PLL level. BUT, of course, the PLL does not have to be enabled at software level. Enable the PLL with a non-connect PLLRC pin will lead teh application into small over consumption due the normal PLL consumption.

Have a nice day July.
