I plan on using the SAM3S family of MCUs in comings project and I'm thinking of using the AVR Studio as it will include SAM3S in the coming 6.0 version.

After some playing around with the beta I wonder if there is anyone that successfully has developed (anything) with this setup? Found any good help sources? Is it worthwhile?

Please get it from http://www.atmel.com/tools/atmel_studio6.aspx and http://www.atmel.com/tools/AVRSOFTWAREFRAMEWORK.aspx. Then you will find the ASF for SAM3S package.

I've already downloaded and installed the AS6. As it actually necessary to download ASF? It is included, right?

I'm more interested in "success stories" or any good pointers to information. The help is rather "thin".
