In Atmel SAM3U there is NFC controller, which allows you to communicate with external NAND Flash without the intervention of CPU. I was hoping that the speed of read/write via NFC will be much higher, but the read speed is only 1.2 MB/s... What the problem is and what speed can NFC ideally provide?
