Hi,

Who can tell me the correct setting for the embedded FWS?
My master clock is 96MHz and the VDDcore is 1.8V, so in the datasheet 6430F on page 1151, table 43-52 the correct number for FWS is 3.

But when I look in the examples given with Atmel studio 6, the FWS is set to 4:
Code:
EFC0->EEFC_FMR = EEFC_FMR_FWS(4);

What is right?

Well 4 is rather excessive, ie 5 wait states. The table is rather obtuse. The graph should y = mx + c

A general rule of thumb with FLASH built on these silicon processes run at 35-42 ns. If you have a wider voltage and temperature ranges you might want to be less aggressive.
