Hi there,

I've got a working UDP CDC implementation based on the Atmel providedUSB CDC Driver Implementation.

The 6119.inf file included in AT91USBFramework-Core1.02+CDC1.0.zip(cdc/drv) has been working fine with Windows XP. However, Windows Vista seems to be a different story...

The usbser.sys driver is is buried in c:/Windows/System32/DriverStore/FileRepository/mdmcpq...
so the OS cannot find the driver.

Is there a Windows Vista friendly verison of the 6119.inf file?

Has anyone been able to successfully mod the existing 6119.inf file to work with Vista?

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Matt.

Figured it out...

I created a 6119 folder in the inf directory containing 6119.inf and usbser.sys.

Seems like the Catalog files must be in the same location as the INF file.

I downloaded windows vista inspirat and it had one thing i didn't like which was the revert to windows classic on every start up. I uninstalled that software thinking it would change back to vista's theme on each start up but that proves false. Any help on how to keep my start up theme to vista every time?

Criticism of Windows Vista has targeted its high system requirements, its more restrictive licensing terms, the inclusion of a number of new digital rights management technologies aimed at restricting the copying of protected digital media, lack of compatibility with some pre-Vista hardware and software.
