Hi all

I am trying to write into the dataflash of AT91SAM9260ek board. I have tried AT91-ISP v1.4 [which i got from ek CD] for connecting this board to host machine.

I selected the following options in ISP.

Code:
Select connection : COM1 [only one option appears here instead of usb option.]
Select your board: AT91SAm9260ek

Its throwing me an error "No valid processor ID found"

Please help me out.

Thanks in advance
SJR

Hi

I could solve the issue.

Prior to connect SAM-BA, we must press BP4 switch while pressing reset button.

On AT91SAM9260-EK platform, there is no way to disconnect the on board DataFlash. If valid code is present in the first DataFlash page the chip will execute it before connecting to SAM-BA. (refer: http://www.at91.com/linux4sam/bin/view/ ... BaRecovery )

With out these, we were not able to select usb device or serial device to start SAM-BA. So got error: No valid processor ID"
