I'm using an SDIO card that has the Marvell 88w8686 SOC in it. I'm using the 'libertas' driver. When I connect this card to my AT91SAM9G45-EKES board that has 'Android4SAM' running on it, the driver loads and asks for the firmware files. I want to transfer the firmware files, 'helper_sd.bin' and 'sd8686.bin' to '/sys/firmware' on the target board (found setup info at the following link: http://www.at91.com/linux4sam/bin/view/ ... iSolutions). The firmware files are present on a sd card. But since the 'cp' command is not recognized, I'm not able to copy the firmware files. Is there any other method to copy these files? Also when I connect a USB cable between the board and PC (windows XP), the PC recognizes the board as an android device. But I'm not able to load a USB driver for this device. Can you please tell me how to install the corresponding USB driver? Regards, Sudhindra Nayak |

As you suggested, I implemented the procedure to install the USB driver mentioned in the following link: http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html But I'm still not able to load a USB driver for the Android4SAM device. The 'found new hardware wizard' says: "Can't install hardware" even though I'm pointing the wizard to the driver folder. Any suggestions?? Regards, Sudhindra Nayak |

I have tested the driver on my AT91SAM9M10-G45-EK and AT91SAM9M10-EK-ES board,it worked.If the driver for Windows does not work on AT91SAM9G45-EKES board,you may try Linux OS.Our next release will support AT91SAM9G45-EKES,then you can have the driver installed. |
