Hi
When using an AT91SAM9M10-EKES can the USART or DBGU or a device plugged into the USB host port using USB CDC class be accessed thru Android programming ?

I have various serial devices (RS232 and USB ) that i would like to be able to access thru the available ports using the Android installed OS.
Is this possible ?

Are there any examples of this ?

Terminal emulator appears to be only for accessing internal shell and not for allowing access to external serial ports or usb virtual comm ports.

Any ideas or suggestions or pointers to examples would be welcome.

In theory,we can access serial devices (RS232 and USB ) thru the available ports using the Android JNI.But we paid very little attention on the Android application development. You may turn to Android develop forum for help.
