Android file download hangs

I have a problem downloading an apk file from an internet web-site.
The internet works, but when I download the file it hangs and write "Waiting for data connection...".
I'm using Android 2.1 on AT91SAM9M10EKES board.

I looked up in google, but none of the results seems relevant to the specific board.
anyone succeeded in downloading files ?

This is probably a bug, I downloaded Opera web-browser, and file downloading works.

It is not a bug,as the browser in Android is just a demo,it only supports few kinds of file type to be downloaded,such as text/html.For Opera,it is a released application,so it works good downloading files.
