Replacing splash screen - initlogo.rle

I want to replace the splash logo.
what is the size of image works best with AT91SAM9M10 ?
I want it to fill the entire screen.

It will be the screen size 480*272

It doesn't work, the logo is not displayed and there's nothing on screen.
I followed this guide: http://prepaidandroids.net/topic/1291-g ... om-source/

and yes, I replaced the /system/initlogo.rle (because the one in the root is overwritten each boot)

May be this kind of method cannot work properly,since our image works.You may check if the initlogo.rle you made is correct or not.

Using the convert tool from imagemagick ( http://www.imagemagick.org).And rgb2565 from Android tools.

Commands like:
#convert -depth 8 logo.png rgb:logo.raw
#(SRC_HOME)/out/host/linux-x86/bin/rgb2565 -rle <logo.raw >initlogo.rle
