Hi.

I have some problems with the SAM3U-EK. I would like to use its accelerometer. I have put the adc12bits pins like inputs and i'm using the USART to watch the value in these pins. The accelerometer pins are the channels 2, 6 and 7 of the ADC12B but when i'm moving the board i can't see any change in these pins.
Can you help me???? There aren't examples about how to use the accelerometer in any place...
Thanks!! :)

There is an example using the 10 bit A/D using the SAM3U-EK

basic-adc-project-at91sam3u-ek
The potentiometer is on AD3 channel.
Start with that code. Make sure it works. Then add the other three channels, 2,6, and 7.
Verify jumpers JP15, JP16, JP20, or JP5. JP16 is a good test mode.

Once it is working with the 10 bit, and you think you need 12 bits,
then change the known working 10 bit code.

Hi!

First, thanks to answer me and sorry for my english :)
I know the example of the adc and i modified the program to read also the other channels associated with the acelerometer. I was working all the time with the adc12bits but i couldn't obtain any change in those pins when i was moving the board...
The potentiometer works good and i can see its changes in the usart terminal with the putty program...
Also, i checked the jumpers and the sleep mode of the accelerometer that is the PC13 pin but it is always 1.2v it never changes its voltage...
Do you know if i have to connect something in the board to use it???
because an example is like if you want to use the BNCs there aren't connected some resistors and i have had to connect them.
If you want i can add here my program...

Hi!

Finally i could use the accelerometer!!! the problem was that the pin pc13 was always with 1.2v and the accelerometer was always in a sleep mode...Finally with a configure function writing in the output register of the pc13 and setting the pin as an output i could obtain 3.3v in that pin...
