Hi everyone,

i'm working as a student project on a AT91SAM9261ek from Olimex and currently I did not manage to use commands from Samba scripts.

Fact is the board is recognized by Win (XP and 7) and I can connect on USB or COM (even if com is sometimes not working well). I can modify the memory using Samba, send the bootstrap...

But when it comes to uboot.bin, or to erase the whole memory, it seems to block. For example using script provided to reinitiate the board, the log file tells me that "I'm erasing memory" or "I'm sending the file" like for 20min or more... but checking the memory nothing happens.

To sum up, sam ba works with direct operation but when it comes to load a file to dataflash it fails.

Is my dataflash broken? Am I doing something wrong?

ps : I remove the jumper AT/SD each time I boot the board, and then put it back to AT. The command "Enable Dataflash" seems to work. I'm using samba 2.8 and I've tried with the 2.9, same issues.

Thx for any idea/help !

Paul

EDIT : Using Samba on Linux, I get that :
