Hi all,

Our company has recently started rolling out new PC's with Windows 7. However we appear to be having an issue getting the SAM-ICE USB adaptor being detected in the SAM-BA (Version 2.10) application. So we do not see the usual \jlink\ARM0 option, just 3 different COM ports!

Any idea how we get this working?

Many thanks

Hello,

It is because it is not supported; On WIN7 only SAM-BA cdc is available.

Thanks for repling. In fact I managed to get to install and run successfully in the end by installing it as a Windows XP application:

Right click on the install exe and choose properties.
Click the Compatibility Tab
tick both "Run this program in compatibility mode for [Windows XP (sp3)]" and "Run this program as an administrator".

Hope this helps.

I think you can do it by going to your user profile and editing your contact info, the password option is at the bottom, enter it twice?
