From looking at the SAM9G25-EK board description at the Atmel store, it claims that one of the features on the evaluation board is a "RS232 four wires/RS485 Shared interface". From looking at other documentation, I'm led to believe that the SAM9G25-EK allows you to use USART0 in either RS-232 mode or RS-485 mode. However, upon looking at the evaluation kit schematics (from the SAM9X5-EK User's Guide, Atmel document #11115-ATARM-27-Jul-11) I see a RS-232 transceiver on the board but I don't see a RS-485 transceiver. Does this evaluation kit really support RS-485 mode? If so, how? If not, does anyone know of a SAM9G25 kit that does have RS-485 ports available?
