Hi there.
I need some help on how to compile/what-to-do with the different examples in the packages library that followed the CD with the AT91SAM9G45-EK board. How do I compile: basic-lcd-project-at91sam9g45-ek? I've renamed two lines of text in the makefile from e.g. at91sam9236 to at91sam9g45. But I don't know what to do after that?

Kind regards,
Simon

If you have your GNU tool chain installed and pathed, then you'd just run 'make', or 'make all'

The download actually uses at91sam9m10 and at91sam9m10-ekes, I can't speak to what's on the original CD.

The exact mechanics will depend on your toolchain and OS, but these aren't specified.

Thank you for your comment. I just feared this kind of answer. I'm a totally newbie and not very used to Linux. I've followed the "User Manuel" for the board. But there is nowhere to be seen how to compile one of the projects from the packages. I've copied the packages to /home/simon/packages. Just to try out one project like /home/simon/packages/getting-started-project.at91sam9g45-ek . And then I write >> make it gives the make: *** No rule to make target 'all'. Stop. I'm lost in how to do anything with any of the projects in this package. Please advise. Kindly...

Then consider a platform you are more familiar with. The examples are buildable on Windows using the Yagarto GNU/GCC tools, the examples also come with versions for Keil and IAR, and most/many will no doubt work with the code limited evaluation versions.
