 Post subject: Where in board at91rm9200DK/EK the machine ID is stored ?

When bootin linux kernel I have got an Error: unrecognized/unsupported machine ID(r1 = 0x00000106) . My board is at91rm9200DK clone. Where in the board the machine ID is stored

Hi,

the machine ID isn't stored in the board, it's something u-boot or whatever you use will tell the kernel.

So propably you are using the wrong kernel as it doesn't have support for the DK?

Thank you! I have tried the u-boot from www.at91.com anf kernel (BusyBox based Reference Linux Distribution for ATMEL RM9200 from www.timesys.com) booted succesfully. But with its own u-boot did not.
