When booting kernel 2.6.20 I have got a message

Epson S1D13XXX FB Driver

But chip is OK! Because when booting kernel 2.4.27 vrs1 everything works.
And I see a pictures on tft display/

What does it matter?

Thank you!!!

Which board are you working with?
Because i have just finished dealing with and modifying the 2.6.23 kernel to deal with exactly this problem.

The code in the kernel was partially written for s1d13806 , which is now a dead chip
s1d13506 is different in that the video memory is external to the chip, thereby requiring a slightly different setup.

P.S if your working on a linux port and were using the same board , maybe we can combine effort.
