Has anyone that has been using the AT91SAM9261 and AT91SAM9263 noticed any performance differences between the two?

I have the EK for both and notice some rather large performance differences between the two boards. The differences exist in both CE 5.0 and 6.0 (the difference does not go away by changing the version of OS from CE 5.0 to 6.0)

I find that the largest difference is in working with windowing code (drawing and moving buttons, cells, labels, etc...) I found that changes in Integer Math, Floating Point Math and Memory Operations to be insignificant between the EKs.

Drawing performance was also worse on the AT91SAM9263EK but not to the same extent as the windowsing code.

Has anyone seen any improvement in performance by using the 2D Graphics Controller? The 2D Graphics Controller is in use in our case.

The video buffer that is used is 1024x1024 which is correct for the maximum performance (according to the Atmel datasheet.)
