Need uidance for a networkstack implementation in AT91SAM7x

Iam very new to embedded s/w.. and i have to implement a new kinda network stack on top of a TCP/IP and a UDP stack. Now i dont know where to start.

I realise that i need a EMAC driver fo rthe board and then plug in the TCP/IP UDP stacks.

How can i start with the EMAC driver..do anyone have a working EMAC code for AT91SAM7x-Ek ? i am using yagarto tool chain.

And please guide me for the TCP/IP and udp stack development or using a some open source code....

I i see my board connect to ethernet then a great deal of work is done !!

thanks

http://www.sics.se/~adam/lwip/ is a great TCP/IP stack that I've been toying with recently. Getting a driver written, getting the stack working with your embedded OS, and getting an application to run on top of it is not a simple thing. Good luck![/url]

I had a look at the IwIP, but iam having a hard time in compiling the stack with my sample application code! I guess i must learn the makefile stuff.

What abt the EMAC ! driver. I looked at the freertos ,and there is a webserver example and that demo also didnt complie with ARM GCC.

Thanks for u r advises. I ll keep updating info here in this tread.

The lwIP_Demo_Rowley_ARM7 port from FreeRTOS compile with gcc. You will find there the emac driver that you are looking for.
