Hi,

I manage to compile and run u-boot-1.0.0 with the cross compiler 2.95.3 given with the AT91RM9200DK but can't get u-boot-1.1.1 to run.
I tried to compile with 2 different cross compilers :
- the 2.95.3 but it appears clearly that u-boot-1.1.1 needs some more recent librairies (3.3.5),
- the 3.3.5 cross compiler I have gives me the same results: everything hangs after the loader has unzipped my u-boot.gz stored in flash with the message "Uncompressing image...".

Any idea on what needs to done or changed?

Hi Ron,

On u-boot 1.1.1 have you check the link address?
it is not the same one as these used on u-boot previous versions.
u-boot file: board/at91rm9200dk/config.mk
change the text_base value: TEXT_BASE = 0x21F00000
